Applications are invited for a post-doctoral position at Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas (ICMAT) in the Analysis research group under the AEI-DFG project “Operator Theory on Free Banach lattices”. The successful applicant will work under the supervision of Pedro Tradacete. Topics of research associated to the position include Banach lattices, Banach spaces and operator theory, but candidates with experience in functional analysis in a broader sense, are also encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will have completed (or nearly completed) a Ph.D. degree in mathematics and have relevant background knowledge in functional analysis.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years.
The position has no teaching duties and includes a yearly stipend of approx. 40k euro (before taxes) + social security.
The start date is to be negotiated.
